Where are you based? We are based in Purley, Croydon, South London but we cover the whole of the UK. We can look after your bookkeeping, accounts and advisory needs virtually with the use of cloud accounting technology

Can I visit your office? We don't have an office you can visit, however we are happy to meet you in a convenient location face-to-face or via Zoom.

Who will be my main point of contact? Veshali Patel will be your main point of contact. Once you're onboard you will have all the contact details you require to be sure you have the advice and the support you need.

How often will we have meetings to discuss our progress? This depends on the services you require. I can meet with you via Zoom on weekly, fortnightly or monthly occasions. Our packages are built to suit your individual requirements.

What are your opening hours? Our opening hours are... Mon, Wed & Thurs 9am-4pm Tue 11am-4pm

Why do I need to provide 2 forms of Identification? As an ACCA Accountant we are governed by Anti Money Laundering regulations. In order to comply with these rules we must ask all of our clients to provide us with 2 forms of identification. We will carry out Anti Money Laundering checks to ensure your business is above board.

Can I keep my accounts in a spreadsheet? You will no longer have to keep a record of your accounts in a spreadsheet. We will look after your transactions using cloud accounting software. This means you will have access to your data in real time from wherever you have an internet connection.

Do you set up accounting software? Yes! We can either get you started on new software, or we can support you in the transition from one software to the other.

Do you offer training and support for accounting software? Yes we can offer refresher training or train you from scratch, just get in touch to discuss your requirements.

How can I find out your charges? Our monthly minimum fees start from £300 and as every business is different, we tailor to suit your requirements.

I currently have an accountant but I am interested in some of the services you offer, do I need to switch accountants for all services? It's entirely up to you! We work alongside accountants to deliver a first class experience for you and to ensure that your business grows. Often we are able to supplement their traditional services (for example, year end accounting and taxation) with our regular timely business solutions.

I want to switch accountants is this a lot of hassle? No. Often when we speak to potential clients, they flag this concern and are worried that changing accountants will prove problamatic. All we need you to do is contact your previous advisor and confirm that you will be moving over to Pinnacle. We will do the rest! The process is streamlined and hassle-free and most accountants are under obligations to cooperate.

I have seen the ads for accounting software on TV. It looks like I could do this myself. Why do I need you? There's more to your bookkeeping and accounting than just software. You need to know how to enter and analyse your data to get the most out of your bookkeeping in order to grow your business. We can help take away the stress of dealing with your accounts, compliance and HMRC. With our help and experience we can guide you to make the right lawful decisions for your business. We offer much more than just processing your transactions. We look at your overall business to help understand how your business can be the success you want it to be.

Is accounting software included in your packages? Yes the fee will include the subscription for the software.

Do you have a preferred software you like to use? We prefer using QuickBooks Online.

What bookkeeping apps do you recommend? The QuickBooks app allows you to keep track of your records. You can send invoices and upload receipts and invoices via your camera whilst on the go.

What's the best way to track my mileage? You can set up the automatic mileage tracking feature in your QuickBooks app.

What qualifications do you have? ACCA since 2002 FCCA since 2007

How much experience do you have? Over 20 years in practice and industry and 10 years running my own practice.

What kind of businesses do you work with? We work with established VAT registered, service based Limited companies who are looking to grow and develop their business.

Which professional body regulates you? Our practice licence is held with ACCA.

Do you have professional indemnity insurance? Yes we do and we are quite happy to send you a copy upon request.

What measurements do you take to make sure my data is secure? In accordance with our code of ethics all communication between us is confidential. Information will not be disclosed unless authorised by you in writing, or where required by law or regulation. Can you do my payroll? Absolutely we can help with all things PAYE.

Can you do my VAT return? We certainly can. You can find out more by visiting our services page on the button above.

How do I share documents with you? You can submit documents to us by secure email.

What happens if I don't get the paperwork to you in time? It’s vital that you get paperwork to us on time so that we can do your bookkeeping to avoid getting fines and penalties. We will always ensure that we request paperwork from you in good time, but we have to work together. If paperwork is submitted late which results in us having to work out of hours, this may result in further charges for our services.

What are the deadline my VAT return/Year End/PAYE? VAT 14th day after quarter end Year End - 3 Months after year end date PAYE - 5 days before pay day

How can I make a complaint about the service I've received? If you are not happy with any aspect of the service you receive, please report this to Veshali Patel at your earliest convenience. Customer service is of paramount importance and your feedback is important to us.

How do I pay my fees? You will be invoiced monthly on the first day of the month, due on the 10th of the month, payment by standing order or direct link on the invoice.

How do I end our agreement? You may terminate the engagement by giving not less than 30 days notice in writing.
